Founded in Ay in 1625 by Henri Giraud, it is one of 17 villages (out of 323) whose terroir is classified as Grand Cru. This designation is a guarantee of quality and can only be marked on the bottle by producers whose land is all Grand Cru. The Giraud-Hémart family has built a true Champagne legend in Aÿ since the 17th century. Generation after generation, it has become one of the most beautiful estates in Champagne today.

MV16 is the most complete and rich expression of the brand style. This wine combines several vintages. The 2016 vintage dominates this cuvée MV 16, making up more than two-thirds of the blend. Sourced entirely from the Ay Grand Crus terroir, this Champagne is aged for 12 months in small oak barrels from the Argonne forest and then aged in bottle for 6 years. A gorgeous vintage for connoisseurs

Aroma: Fruity, with aromas of pear, cherry, thyme, white flowers and cocoa

Taste: The wine is full-bodied and energetic, with a refreshing taste and a salty finish.
